For more information contact Bro. Ken Felty at the Church office. What does F.A.I.T.H stand for?
F is for Forgiveness. We cannot have eternal life and heaven without God's forgiveness.
A is for Available. Forgiveness is available for all, but it is not automatic.
I is for Impossible. It is impossible for God to allow sin into heaven. It is also impossible to please God through our own actions.
T is for Turn. Turn means to repent from sin and self to Christ only.
H is for Heaven. Heaven is eternal life, here and now and in the hereafter - but only through Christ. Forsaking all, I trust Him!
The F.A.I.T.H. Riders blazon - their "colors" - consist of four primary colors and four symbols:
White God's light and glory, in which all darkness disappears and there are no shadows.
Red The blood of Jesus, which cleanses the sinner of all sin and makes him or her the righteous saint of God because of its being shed at the Cross. Salvation to us is free, but its cost is priceless. It represents Jesus.
Blue Regal, the color of royalty. Our sins cost the life of the King of Kings, and He gave it willingly so we could have the way to salvation. We are the only created being offered this gift.
Gold Purity. Gold can only be made pure by passing through a crucible's fire until the impurities are removed and the goldsmith can see his reflection on the surface of the metal. This is a picture of what happens when a sinner passes through the blood of Jesus Christ.
The Cross The symbol of where the Prince of Glory died. The Cross on our colors is empty-the price of salvation is paid in full. Our savior, Jesus Christ, ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is our advocate to the Father, seeing that the covenant provisions are being ministered to us.
The Flag One God; a nation set apart as long as we give glory to the God who blesses the nations.
The Stars There are only seven complete stars in the blazon. Seven is a symbolic number in scripture that describes perfection and completeness. Everything in life is complete in Jesus Christ.
The Eagle A bird of prey that represents power, justice, and God's forthcoming wrath upon the unholy. ******************************************************* What a busy and exciting summer we have had! Money raised for St. Luke Children's Hospital was delivered to Lois Colemire. She had a sandwich lunch prepared for us, and showed us around the facility. Faith Riders have participated in Bikers Night at Science Hill twice this summer with one more planned for Oct. Water, tracts, info packets, and Bibles are given to anyone stopping by our tent. We also set our tent up at Kmart, Friday night before Cruisin on Main, then again for Cruisin on Main, Sat. Money was given to two members of Faith Riders who went on mission trips to Jamaica and Brazil. FR are sponsoring a child each month from Nepal. Numerous joy rides have been attended . One such trip was not a joy for member Paul Boggs. Paul needed to cut his trip short to return home. While others continued on the ride, Paul headed back alone. As he approached an intersection in Livingston, he swerved to miss a car making a turn, and hit a raised medium, and went spiraling thru the air. He was taken to ER, x-rays and lots of test run, and miraculously only had "road rash". We are grateful to God that Paul was only battered and bruised. Other members have been involved in vehicle accidents and surgeries, and we pray for continued healing for them. FR are experiencing growth with several new members. We welcome each one and hope you enjoy the group. We appreciate Sonic Drive In advertising Bike Night, every Thursday on their billboard. We are making new friends and hopefully, a great impact on the community!
